Football fans and entertainment enthusiasts are set for an exciting evening as the The Bridge of Legends Hong Kong Celebrities Football Friendly Match takes place on Saturday, 10 October 2026, from 8.00pm to 10.00pm at MBPJ Stadium, Petaling Jaya. Organised by Orange Leisure Sdn Bhd and co-organised by Pew Pew Resource, the special match promises to bring together the worlds of Hong Kong entertainment and Malaysian football in an exciting sporting encounter.

The match will see FC3 Club, a football team comprising football-loving professionals from Hong Kong’s entertainment industry, go head-to-head with Selangor FC Legends. Built around the philosophy of “Standing Strong at Thirty”, FC3 brings together members with an average age of around 30 who share a passion for football. Beyond the sport, the club also aims to strengthen friendships, encourage networking and provide members with an opportunity to pursue their football aspirations while balancing their professional careers.

The FC3 squad features a line-up of well-known Hong Kong celebrities and football enthusiasts, including Kaho Hung, Jer Lau (Jer@MIRROR), Tony Wu, Siu Hin Ng, Carlos Chan, Adrian Chau, Edward Ma, Elvin Wong, Yatho Wong, Jonathan Li, Terry Ng, Cheung Man, Sean Man, former Hong Kong representative footballer Kumar So and Tong Kin Man. The team is captained by Locker Lam and coached by former Hong Kong representative team captain Chan Wai Ho.

With regular weekly training sessions and participation in amateur football competitions across Hong Kong, FC3 is also committed to community outreach by promoting physical and mental well-being through sports. The team’s participation in the friendly match adds an exciting dimension to its efforts to connect the entertainment community with sports and foster meaningful relationships through football.

Adding a meaningful charitable element to the event, a portion of the proceeds from the special match will be donated to Make-A-Wish Malaysia. The initiative aims to support the organisation’s efforts while bringing fans together for an evening that combines entertainment, sport and community spirit.

Standing as FC3’s opponents, Selangor FC Legends represent one of Malaysia’s most historic and successful football clubs. Founded in 1921, Selangor FC currently competes in the Malaysia Super League and has enjoyed an illustrious history, including a record 33 Malaysia Cup titles, seven Malaysia Super League championships, two Premier League titles, seven FAM League championships, five FA Cup titles and eight Charity Shield victories.

The highly anticipated encounter is expected to offer fans an opportunity to see familiar faces from Hong Kong’s entertainment industry share the pitch with legendary figures from Malaysian football. More than just a friendly match, The Bridge of Legends aims to create a platform that connects cultures, entertainment and sport while strengthening ties between Malaysia and Hong Kong.
