Pada 28 Julai 2023 telah berlangsung Majlis Malaysia Most Outstanding Wealth Advisors (MMOWA) 2023 di Putrajaya Marriot Hotel, Putrajaya anjuran Majlis Tindakan Pengguna Negara adalah suatu pengiktirafan kepada penasihat kewangan yang banyak membantu masyarakat memperoleh pemahaman khususnya berkaitan literasi kewangan.

Ketua Penolong Setiausaha Bahagian Sumber Manusia, Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Dr. Nik Adi Sukiman Nik Ahmad Fauzi berkata, peranan penasihat kewangan amat penting dalam membantu masyarakat mencapai matlamat kewangan dengan memberikan nasihat profesional dan menyediakan strategi yang sesuai khususnya dalam ‘Financial dan Estate Planning’.

Penasihat kewangan tidak hanya membantu individu merancang perancangan kewangan jangka panjang, tetapi juga memberikan pendidikan tentang pelbagai aspek kewangan seperti pelaburan, pengurusan hutang, perlindungan aset dan persaraan.

Penerima anugerah pada malam itu telah menunjukkan komitmen dan kecemerlangan dalam memperjuangkan literasi kewangan dalam kalangan rakyat Malaysia.

Sementara itu, Chairlady MMOWA, Sim Wen Yee berkata, pengiktirafan kepada penerima anugerah MMOWA merupakan tanda penghargaan atas sumbangan mereka yang tidak mementingkan diri sendiri dalam membantu individu yang mengalami masalah kewangan.

Penerima anugerah telah menunjukkan keazaman, ketekunan dan kecekapan dalam mempelajari dan mengaplikasikan prinsip-prinsip literasi kewangan ke dalam kehidupan seharian.

Majlis yang berlangsung gilang-gemilang itu turut dihadiri Presiden Kebangsaan Majlis Tindakan Pengguna Negara (MTPN), Datuk Paduka Dr. Kevy KV Yeo; Ketua Penolong Pengarah Sektor Pengurusan Inovasi Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam, Muazam Mokhtar dan Penasihat Kebangsaan MTPN, Datuk Seri Paduka Dr. Hasmizal Hassan.

Turut hadir, Timbalan Presiden Kebangsaan MTPN, Abdul Malik Jamaran serta Timbalan Setiausaha Agung Kebangsaan MTPN, Noorman Kamsani.

Calon Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Paya Jaras yakin dengan kemampuannya mempertahankan kerusi kawasan itu berikutan rekod cemerlang Pakatan Harapan (HARAPAN) semasa berkuasa di Selangor.

SoundCircus, which began as a tiny performance in 2017, has developed into one of the key attractions during the Art Of Speed Malaysia large-scale indoor events at MAEPS. Memorandum Organisasi Nambikkai telah diserahkan, dan pada 27 Julai 2023, rayuan jaminan telah difailkan bagi pihak mangsa yang telah ditahan di bawah Akta Sokma 2012.

35 orang mangsa tahanan SOSMA (GST 08), ahli keluarga 24 orang mangsa tahanan SOSMA (Geng SAKAI), SOSMA (Rusa Boy) bersama-sama Suara Rakyat Malaysia (SUARAM) serta Sebaran Kasih, telah menyeru agar pihak Datuk Seri menggunakan mandat dan amanah daripada rakyat untuk memberikan keadilan kepada semua mangsa tahanan SOSMA yang sedang menunggu tarikh perbicaraan yang dijadualkan pada Julai 2024 hingga September 2024 (bagi tahanan SOSMA GST 08) dan yang sedang menjalani perbicaraan (Geng SAKAI).

Di bawah peruntukan seksyen 13 (Sosma), tiada sesiapa yang dipertuduh atas kesalahan keselamatan dibenarkan ikat jamin kecuali mereka adalah dibawah umur 18 tahun, wanita dan seorang yang sakit atau seorang yang uzur. Berpendapat bahawa seksyen ini adalah bercanggah kepada prinsip kedaulatan undang-undang (‘rule of the law’) atau prinsip keadilan semula jadi (‘natural justice’) kerana ia memberi kuasa kepada pihak penguatkuasa untuk memenjarakan seseorang walaupun beliau belum didapati bersalah di mahkamah.

Akibat proses perbicaraan yang panjang, peruntukan ini turut disalahguna oleh pihak polis untuk berunding dengan OKT. OKT ‘dinasihatkan’ untuk mengakui salah supaya mendapat hukuman rendah malah tidak perlu meringkuk penjara sehingga bicara selesai. Terdapat kes-kes dahulu dilaporkan bahawa OKT berbuat demikian untuk mengelakkan sebarang pelanjutan tempoh pertahanan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahawa peruntukan ini telah menafikan hak-hak OKT untuk mendapat satu perbicaraan yang adil dan saksama.

Selain itu, walaupun terdapat beberapa tahanan dalam kes ini telah memenuhi syarat untuk mendapatkan jaminan iaitu mereka yang sakit, namun permohonan ikat jamin masih ditolakkan. Perbicaraan bagi kes ini hanya akan berlangsung pada Julai hingga September 2024. Hal ini juga menyebabkan ramai keluarga yang hilang sumber pendapatan kerana kebanyakan OKT merupakan pencari nafkah yang tunggal dalam keluarga. Keluarga dibelenggu dengan kemiskinan, malah taraf kehidupan ahli keluarga termasuk kanak-kanak dan ibu bapa yang uzur turut terjejas.

Pemberian ikat jamin sangat penting kerana

1. Rata-rata ahli keluarga mengalami masalah kewangan kerana hilang punca pendapatan. Ada diantara mereka menjaga ibu bapa yang uzur dan bertanggungjawab sebagai pencari nafkah utama buat keluarga mereka.
2. Akaun bank tahanan SOSMA ini dibekukan tanpa mempunyai sebarang bukti kesalahannya. Notis pembekuan diberikan kepada keluarga hanya sebulan selepas pembekuan. Ini menyebabkan perniagaan mereka terjejas kerana tiada modal untuk menjalankan perniagaan oleh ahli keluarga mereka.
3. Anak-anak mangsa tahanan SOSMA menghadapi masalah emosi dan sosial kerana bapa mereka tidak dapat bersama mereka untuk membimbing ke arah kesejahteraan keluarga. Mereka yang bersekolah sering diejek dan dicaci serta dipinggirkan.
4. Hubungan suami isteri menjadi renggang dan berakhir dengan penceraian. Masa depan kedua-dua suami isteri musnah akibat perpisahan disebabkan tahanan dalam tempoh masa yang lama.
5. Orang awam sering mengutuk dan memandang rendah terhadap keluarga tahanan malah dilihat sebagai ancaman. Ahli keluarga terpaksa menanggung perasaan malu kerana tahanan dianggap sebagai pengganas negara.

Kesimpulannya,ahli keluarga mangsa tahanan SOSMA berharap pihak Datuk Seri mengambil kira kesemua isu. Mereka juga memohon pertimbangan dan jasa baik pihak Datuk Seri untuk membebaskan tahanan mangsa SOSMA dengan kadar segera.

Mereka berharap agar OKT boleh mendapatkan jaminan tanpa sebarang bantahan daripada Jabatan Peguam Negara. Kami menuntut agar Kerajaan Malaysia meminda seksyen 13 SOSMA dan memberi satu moratorium supaya peruntukan ini tidak digunakan sehingga pindaan peruntukan ini selesai. Kami turut berharap agar OKT boleh mendapatkan jaminan tanpa sebarang bantahan daripada Jabatan Peguam Negara.

In its aspiration to become a sustainable retailer, Lotuss Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Lotus’s Malaysia) is continuing its efforts to source for alternatives to reduce single-use plastics in its operations, whilst finding ways to engage and create interest amongst Malaysian youth to be more involved in circularity. This is the start of the public private partnership between the retailer and a leading technical university, Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) that led to the creation of its first National Sustainability Innovation Challenge 2023 (NaSIC’23).

The objective of NaSIC’23 is to encourage creative, innovative, thinkers and problem solvers who are interested in environmental issues by providing them with exposure to green technology, engineering, science solutions and real industry cases relating to reducing, reusing, recycling and replacing single-use plastics in retail.

Corporate Services Executive Director of Lotus’s Malaysia, Azliza Azmel said, “This is our first collaboration with MJIIT-UTM to gather brilliant school going Malaysians to explore and express their innovative ideas; to address real challenges in the retail industry, with potential to become workable solutions fit not only for Lotus’s but for other retailers in Malaysia. Launched in April 2023, NaSIC’23 had successfully garnered participation from 390 students aged 14 to 18, representing 77 schools from West and East Malaysia. At the event, Azliza also shared that its ESG commitment is guided by its Three Benefit Principle, where its sustainability efforts should not only benefit the company but also the society and the country in which it operates in. In July 2021, the retailer took the initiative to stop the provisions of single-use plastic bags from its checkout counters which successfully prevented around 26 million single-use plastic bags from going into landfills and oceans.

Further to this, Lotus’s had also introduced its food waste composting trial efforts from one of its stores in 2022. This has resulted in 16% of its food waste successfully diverted from landfills. Other initiatives in circularity also include the use of sustainable materials in the packaging of its Lotus’s Own Brand products. To date 68% of its own brand packaging is fully recyclable.

Both Lotus’s and MJIIT-UTM has plans to continue its partnership for NaSIC’24, to address other areas of sustainability that will benefit the environment, consumers and students.

‘Misi Quban @ Nepal’ dilengkapi dengan sembilan hari perjalanan bersama Anas dan sukarelawan dari Malaysia ke Nepal, dimulakan dengan proses pencarian haiwan untuk penyembelihan, diikuti pelaksanaan menyembelih dan seterusnya proses memasak daging sembelihan yang merangkumi pelbagai menu serta pengagihan daging korban kepada masyarakat setempat. Misi yang dijalankan ini mendapat sokongan dan bantuan daripada 200 dermawan daripada Malaysia dan agensi-agensi setempat yang ingin meraikan sambutan Aidiladha bersama penduduk di Nepal.

Selain berkongsi rezeki, ‘Misi Qurban @ Nepal’ berfungsi sebagai platform pertukaran budaya dan persefahaman. Interaksi antara sukarelawan dan masyarakat setempat dipupuk menerusi sikap hormat-menghormati sesama manusia. Melalui pengalaman, cerita dan perbualan yang dikongsi oleh masyarakat di Nepal, jambatan pertalian telah terbina dan mengukuhkan hubungan persaudaraan.

The Bunkface Rock in Borneo performance, held on July 19th at KDCA (Kadazan Dusun Cultural Association), Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, was a huge success, with over 2000 people in attendance. The concert went off without a hitch, thanks to the fascinating performances of the renowned band Bunkface.

The night commenced with an opening act by the local rock band from Penampang, Kota  Kinabalu, named DAISY DREAM. They set the stage on fire with their 30-minute set,  warming up the crowd before Bunkface took the stage promptly at 8 PM.

Bunkface delivered more than 20 songs, excluding the intimate acoustic session by Sam, while  graciously catering to song requests from the enthusiastic fans present. Their performance  captivated the audience, creating unforgettable memories for everyone in attendance.

This concert’s success would not have been possible without the unwavering support of fans  and the local arts community. The DJI Air 3 boasts the first dual-primary camera system of the Air Series, which embeds a 1/1.3-inch CMOS wide-angle camera and a 1/1.3-inch CMOS 3x medium tele camera in a compact space. The two cameras have the same sensor size but different focal lengths, which results in more consistent image quality^[3] and more diverse camera language.

With the wide-angle camera, sweeping landscapes can be captured more fully. It offers a 2.4μm pixel size, a 24mm format equivalent, and an F1.7 aperture. The 3x Medium Tele Camera offers a 2.4μm pixel size, 70mm format equivalent, and an F2.8 aperture.

The 3x medium tele camera can achieve 3x optical zoom and create a strong sense of spatial compression, enabling a unique perspective to present the user or anyone else as the subject of aerial photography. With people on the scene, aerial photography now has more diverse possibilities.

Pilots can use the wide FOV of the wide-angle camera to embrace the whole landscape or switch to the 3x medium tele camera and capture the subject as a bold focal point, with the landscape before and behind the subject seemingly within reach. Both cameras offer 48MP photos, not only delivering true-to-life details but also supporting post-cropping for easy secondary composition.

The DJI Air 3 has two 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensors that support dual native ISO for direct output of 4K/60fps HDR video at high frame rates and up to 4K/100fps max video specification, now even without FOV cropping compared to its predecessor, the DJI Air 2S. These videos can record rich color details and natural lighting transitions to restore the stunning landscape before your eyes. Both cameras support 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG color modes. The 10-bit D-Log M mode can retain more highlight and shadow details for more flexible post-production.

The DJI Air 3 is the first drone in the Air Series to support 2.7K vertical video shooting (9:16), which can be shared immediately on social media.

Extended Flight Time, Easy Power Accumulation

Compared with its predecessor in the Air Series, the DJI Air 3 has 48% more max flight time^[5] of up to 46 minutes. Thus, pilots can seek the best position and adjust the composition with more peace of mind during a single flight.

The new battery charging hub supports a power accumulation function. Users can press and hold the function button to transfer the remaining power from multiple batteries to the battery with the highest remaining power. This feature gives pilots the freedom and flexibility to make the most of their flight while, for example, hiking in the mountains or biking in the forest, where charging possibilities are limited.

Confident Takeoff and Safe Landing with Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing and O4 Video Transmission

The DJI Air 3 is the first drone in the Air Series to include omnidirectional obstacle sensing. This feature enables comprehensive environmental awareness, allowing the drone to detect obstacles in all directions. In the front and at the back, the drone is equipped with a pair of fisheye lenses to achieve forward, backward, left, right, and upward sensing, while the bottom is equipped with binocular lenses and a 3D TOF, achieving powerful omnidirectional obstacle sensing.

When an obstacle is detected, the DJI Air 3 can also use APAS 5.0 to actively avoid and smoothly bypass obstacles, which ensures uninterrupted shooting for a greatly enhanced flight experience. Antara aktiviti menarik yang telah diadakan adalah permainan taman tema, penampilan maskot Ejen Ali dan Ejen Alicia dan upacara pemotongan kek. Selain itu, pertandingan mewarna dan pop kuiz juga telah diadakan untuk peminat cilik Ejen Ali dimana pemenang telah membawa pulang barangan rasmi Ejen Ali. Sarawak continues to establish itself as the leading hub in Malaysia for advancing public health medicine after winning the 21st International Congress for Tropical Medicine and Malaria (ICTMM 2024), set to take place between 19-23 September 2024 at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching. This will mark Malaysia’s debut as the host for one of the world’s leading Congresses in tropical medicine and Malaria.

The international bidding was a collaboration between the Malaysian Society of Parasitology & Tropical Medicine, Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak) and Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB).

ICTMM 2024 is organised by the International Federation of Tropical Medicine and Malaria (IFTM) and the Malaysian Society of Parasitology & Tropical Medicine (MSTPM) and supported by: Ministry of Public Health, Housing and Local Government Sarawak; Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak; Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development Sarawak; Sarawak State Health Department; Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS); BESarawak, and MyCEB.

The congress, themed “Global Responses and Interdisciplinary Research Towards Eliminating Tropical Diseases”, will be jointly held with the 60th Malaysian Society of Parasitology & Tropical Medicine Conference (MSPTM 2024) and the 10th ASEAN Congress of Tropical Medicine and Parasitology (10th ACTMP). As a highly coveted global event, ICTMM 2024 is expected to attract more than 2,000 scientists, physicians, researchers, policy makers and international authorities to discuss current tropical medicine topics such as malaria, neglected diseases, drug resistance, travel medicine and zoonoses (diseases and infections that are transmitted between animals and humans).

“Sarawak’s tropical climate and geographical diversity create various habitats for disease vectors, leading to higher infection and transmission rates of tropical diseases,” said The Honourable Dato Sri Professor Dr Sim Kui Hian, Sarawak’s Deputy Premier and Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government at today’s press conference. “Sarawak’s Malaria Research Centre by UNIMAS has been instrumental in studying the genetic diversity and transmission of malaria. Another establishment that we look forward to is the Sarawak Infectious Disease Centre, which is expected to open by 2024. Tropical diseases will be a major study and for the centre to reach its full potential, the Sarawak Research and Development Council recently concluded its meetings with Imperial College London and the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute in Basel, Switzerland earlier this month to discuss how they can collaborate and do research in Sarawak. We are highly optimistic that this collaboration will take place”.

“The greatest attraction of ICTMM is that it rotates in different countries so that it is truly international in focus and venue,” said Professor Dr Malcolm Jones, President of the International Federation of Tropical Medicine and Malaria. “Sarawak has a unique setting to study malaria and other tropical diseases due to its diverse ecosystem and varied malaria transmission patterns, providing a range of tropical medicine dynamics for investigation. The Federation’s role is to ensure that modern society and the scientific and medical communities, especially in regions such as Asia Pacific are kept informed and connected for the global progress of tropical medicine.”

Besides knowledge sharing and networking, an expected outcome of the congress is to contribute to global health where knowledge, insights, and collaborations gained from the congress can be translated into practical solutions and interventions that address the challenges of tropical diseases in their respective regions.

“ICTMM has been hosted for over 100 years and our ultimate goal is to lead the world’s conversations and knowledge in tropical medicine through collaborations between national and international federated societies”, stated Professor Dr. Siti Nursheena Mohd Zain, ICTMM 2024’s Organising Chair. “There is a need to emphasise the importance of global cooperation and collaborations in the fight against tropical diseases. We must explore a multidisciplinary approach to achieve the common goal of eliminating tropical diseases. It is only through collaborations, we can share best practices, exchange ideas, and learn from one another’s experiences. It opens doors to multidisciplinary approaches, where experts from various fields can work together to develop innovative interventions, diagnostic tools, and treatment strategies. ”.

ICTMM 2024 is expected to fetch RM24.6 million in total economic impact, of which RM13.4 million will derive from direct delegate expenditure. An additional 1,952 jobs will arise from organising and hosting the congress. As for the legacy impact or the broader values of the congress, the Malaysian Society of Parasitology & Tropical Medicine aspires to be at the forefront of fostering global collaborations within the scientific community and driving transformative change.

“As Malaysia and Borneo’s legacy capital for business events, we are working closely with the congress committee to help achieve their legacy impact”, said Amelia Roziman, BESarawak’s CEO. “Sarawak’s business events industry places high value on collaborations and we hope that by being the host destination for ICTMM, the congress will be the key to Malaysia and Asia’s tropical medicine advancements.”

At an exclusive press conference held today for members of the media, SEARCH, which is made up of the well-known members Amy, Nasir, Hillary Ang, and Man Kidal, made the official announcement that they will take part in another legendary solo concert called KONSERT FANTASSIA BULAN SALJU on August 12, 2023 (Saturday), at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting.

With years of experience under their belt especially in organising concerts for famous international artists such as Super Junior – D&E (Korea), Jeff Chang (Taiwan), Liza Wang (Hong Kong) and Michael Learns to Rock (Denmark), SEARCH is both proud and humbled to be given the opportunity by MIC Entertainment Group as their first Malay local artist and rock band to perform at the prestigious venue, thus cementing SEARCH’s status as a prominent rock band in Malaysia, acknowledged by its fraternity and rock and roll fans all across the country

The Kuala Lumpur Warehouse Project (KLWH) 2.0 was officially announced at a press conference held at Mega Star Arena in Sungei Wang Plaza in Kuala Lumpur this morning. The complete line up was also revealed to the members of the media during the hour long session which was also attended by the local acts, collaborators and key sponsors.

The second edition of the highly successful electronic dance music festival is organised once again by Leo Global Link Sdn Bhd and will be staged at the the highly-in-demand Mega Star Arena, on Saturday 26^th August 2023, and is expected to be a bigger and much more exciting one than the highly successful and incident free first edition in January this year.

For the first time ever, KLWP 2.0 is proud to present something even more special for fans of Techno, Big Room Techno, and Hard Techno. The organisers of KLWP have been listening to your feedback and requests, and are confident that this year’s event should exceed your expectations.

KLWP 2.0 will unleash another 5 of the biggest or fastest growing deejay-producers in the world-  including headliner Danny Avila, along side other majors that include Maddix, Olly James, Marie Vaunt, and Lister, who is being brought back again by popular demand – in another massive EDM party that is expected to send the message that vibrant and tourism friendly Kuala Lumpur is the next entertainment capital of Southeast Asia.

“The inaugural KLWP 1.0 rebooted EDM in Malaysia after three years of pandemic measures which had kept the industry at standstill and international artistes out of the country,” Dato’ Muthalagan expressed.

“We are now proud to announce that we are producing the second edition of KLWP with the intent of bringing tourists back into the country especially from our Southeast Asian neighbours and making our tourist friendly Kuala Lumpur once again the entertainment capital of the region.”

Danny Avila

Spanish house and electro house deejay and producer, 28-year-old Daniel “Danny” Avila Rosón was the first to be announced to the line up of KLWP 2.0.

MTV and Billboard’s “one to watch” has worked with Tiësto, Deniz Koyu and Fedde Le Grand and was nominated as the “DJ Revelación” at the Vicious Music Awards by Ron Barceló 2011.

He debuted at the Ultra Music Festival of Miami in March 2013 and was signed to a contract with MGM of Vegas as the youngest resident in the history of Hakkasan the very same year alongside artistes like Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Deadmau5, Tommy Trash, Tiesto and Calvin Harris.

He was ranked #36 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list in 2022.

Over the last two years, Avila has embarked on developing a new sound, Mainstage Techno, which has since grown into a record label.

He has since been bringing Mainstage Techno to most major festivals and clubs across the globe, and playing his new music to amazing reactions of the audiences. It will be here soon.

Maddix

The Dutch progressive house and big room DJ and producer has performed at most major festivals including Ultra Music Festival, Parookaville, World Club Dome, and Mysteryland.

Maddix continues to be in the spotlight on streaming platforms and dance floors alike.

The immense growth of his own established sound is creating tremors in the global electronic dance music scene and getting the full support of all big names, varying from Techno artists like Amelie Lens, HI-LO / Oliver Heldens and UMEK to EDM and Trance artists like Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiesto and Armin van Buuren.

He currently has releases with top labels such as Spinnin’, Armada, Rave Culture, and Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings.

With his partnership with Revealed Recordings, his music has gone viral on Instagram and TikTok and has received numerous #1 genre spots on the most important DJ download portal Beatport. In combination with achieving around 4 million monthly listeners on Spotify, one can say Maddix has created a movement that will change the world.

His audience has since grown into a truly global collective and his sound and brand continue to blaze the trail and up the ante for electronic music.

Olly James

UK deejay & producer Olly James is the founder of the Rave Room movement that aims to take bigroom to higher tempos and energy levels. He’s been a regular figure on Spinnin’ Records with his well-received remix of Sash!’s Ecuador. He’s also been a mainstay on Rave Culture, Revealed Recordings, and Maxximize Recordings with his ever-evolving sound and continuous releases.

Lister

Originally from Launceston Tasmania, Lister had a strong passion for music since a young age. His love for production began at 13, when he was first introduced to FL Studio.

After finding his love for EDM and inspired by Inspired by the sound of Melbourne Orchestrated, Joel Fletcher & SCNDL, Lister worked on FL every single day he could, even during high school and whenever he had the chance. This led him his first DJing gig at 15, which eventually turned into weekend performances. Since then Lister has progressed his sound to a more minimal and darker style of genre, catching the eyes and ears of the producers he has looked up to. Now 20, and living in Melbourne, there is endless potential for this young star.

The affable Lister made such an impact at KLWP 1.0, he was brought back on popular demand.

Marie Vaunt

Marie Vaunt is a Japanese-raised LA-based deejay and producer. With her unique blend of massive rhythms, dark and ethereal vocals, and genre-defining acid lines, she has gained a large following, amassing 3.2 million Spotify streamsin 222, while being a regular on the Beatport Top 1000 chart.

Marie has been released on some of Techno’s most respected labels including Drumcode, Fe Chrome., Kneaded pains, Set About. Autektone, Legend, Codex, IAMT, Neoacid and Alaula. She has also made official remixes for artistes such as Cosmic Boys, Dense & Pika, T78, A*S*Y*S* and Kai Tracid, and has received support from industry heavyweights Adam Beyer, Maddix, Sian, *A*S*YX  and Mark Dekoda, to name a few.

In addition  to her success as a producer, Marie has also made for herself as a performer, bringing her signature sound to stages in countries including Japan, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Portugal, Spain and USA. Marie Vaunt has solidified her place in the Techno scene as a household name, and continues to push boundaries with her unique and innovative sound.

Chukiess & Whackboi

Shukri Tan & Bel Brian Doroz, professionally known as Chukiess & Whackboi are deejays, record producers & remixers from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They are known for their energetic live performance, and mostly known for their unique raw fusion of Progressive, Psy, Techno & Trance music.

Born in 1989, and raised in the Royal City Of Klang, Chuckiess started his adventure at the age of 18 (2007) as an electronic music lover (as a trance addict) and eventually became a raver in the Hardstyle scene. When he was 20, he had already been trained as club deejay by DJ Masterbasez at Maison Club in Kuala Lumpur. By 2010, he had already establish himself, and was getting gigs at big events such as Hell House and Crazy Day. His partners were DJ Yoshiro & DJ Ejiez back then. He is also the main organizer for Partylicious and EDM Rockstar. He also also worked for KL Tower as an event coordinator and was founder of the Tower Rocks brand.

Born in 1993, and raised in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Whackboi started deejaying and producing music since high school. He was involved in many underground EDM/RAVE gigs in Sabah & Sarawak. He took up music producing as a serious career by studying the fundamentals of technology in music producing , mixing and mastering especially in electronic music.

He & partner Chukiess released a smash hit called ‘Double Damage’ in the early days, and it received overwhelming support from local & international deejay/producers all around the world.

Whackboi’s music is highly influenced by Jazz, Blues, Swing, Classical and Modern music. The multi-talented Whackboi is also able to play musical instruments such as piano, guitar, flute, saxophone, cello, modular synthesizer and a variety of traditional musical instruments.

In 2012 , he took the plunge by formally  joining Chukiess as a deejaying duo by creating the Chukiess & Whackboi brand. And the rest is history.

The multiple award-winning deejay duo’s music has been supported by big names including, Armin Van Buuren, Andrew Rayel, Ben Nicky, Blasterjaxx, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Ruben De Ronde, W&W and many more.

Deejay & producer Syeid Ibrahim Sulayman, who is best known as Smash, picked up his amazing skills back in 2014 when he was starting learning at the DJ Scratch Academy Speedzone in Johore Baru. His passion and the adrenaline rush he felt from performing in front of an audience led him to refine his skills under the guidance of DJ E.T.A. Based in Kuala Lumpur has a built a solid reputation iwith his signature Techno, Tech Trance, Hard Trance and Hardstyle sets.

He is also the founder of Explode Music Entertainment, a brand which has worked with international artistes such as Sam Jone, Collin Hernez, Shugz and more.

Smash has also produced brilliant tracks for acts such as Predator, Aftermath, made In Seremban and Unknown.He has also headlined many shows in Malaysia and also been featured at the renowned Neon Music Festival in Bangkok.

 

Majlis Tausiyah 1 Muharrram “Hijrah, Melangkah dengan Cinta” yang dianjurkan oleh Munawwareen (jenama fesyen islamik) pada 19 Julai 2023 yang bertemakan Raudah Jiwa dengan Kerjasama Ustazah Datuk Dr. Norhafizah Musa.

Program terbuka yang hanya disertai para Muslimah ini berkonsepkan ‘sharing session’ di antara panel jemputan dan juga tetamu yang diraikan. Seramai 500 para muslimat menghadiri majlis ilmiah ini yang bermula seawal jam 9 pagi.

Pembuka tahun 1445H, program ini juga mengangkat topik hijrah yang dilalui, sama ada suka ataupun duka dan bagaimana konsep hijrah itu sendiri diterapkan dalam kehidupan yang semakin mencabar juga menyuntik azam baru dan semangat yang kuat untuk laluan tahun baru 1445H.

Awal Muharram atau Maak Hijrah merupakan suatu hari yang penting bagi umat Islam seluruh dunia kerana menandakan peristiwa penting yang berlaku dalam sejarah Islam iaitu memperingati penghijraan Nabi Muhammad S.A.W dari Kota Makkah ke Madinah pada tahun 622 Masihi. Justeru, Munawwareen mengambil inisiatif menyampaikan dakwah melalui program sebegini di samping meraikan kedatangan bulan yang mulia ini dengan semangat hijrah, yakni niat untuk melakukan perubahan dalam pelbagai aspek.

Barisan panel jemputan terdiri daripada Ustazah Datuk Dr. Norhafizah Musa, Prof Madya Dr. Sharifah Hayaati, Ustazah Nony, juga panel istimewa Puan Masitah Mohd Afandy dan Irma Hasmie selaku moderator bagi program Tausiyah 1 Muharram “Hijrah, Melangkah dengan Cinta”. Program ini juga turut mengundang kumpulan Qasidah Tahfiz As-Safiyyah bagi bersama-sama memeriahkan majlis dengan alunan seni suara yang mengandungi unsur unsur dakwah Islamiyah, doa kepada Allah SWT dan puji-pujian kepada Rasulullah SAW.

Program Awal Muharram ini juga adalah salah satu inisiatif memperkenalkan kolaborasi strategik jenama Munawwareen bersama Pertubuhan Kebajikan Projek Kengkawan, untuk membawa Jemaah OKU Penglihatan (SBM) dan OKU Pendengaran (MDF) menunaikan Ibadah Umrah pada bulan Oktober 2023. Projek Langkah Kerdil Menuju Baitullah 2.0 ini juga bertujuan merealisasikan impian lebih kurang 40 orang ahli pertubuhan mengerjakan umrah buat pertama kalinya.
