KUALA LUMPUR, 21 October 2026 — NCT Alliance Berhad (NCT Alliance) returned to the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2026 to showcase the latest progress of its two industrial park developments, NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP) in Selangor and NCT Innosphere (NIS) in Kedah. The company’s participation highlights its continued commitment to advancing smart industrial development, attracting quality investments and supporting economic growth through integrated and sustainable industrial infrastructure.
As the first development within the Integrated Development Region in South Selangor (IDRISS), NSIP continues to play a significant role in positioning South Selangor as a strategic industrial corridor for high-impact investments. In recognition of its contribution to the state’s industrial development, NCT Alliance received the Preferred Industrial Park (PIP) Certificate under Invest Selangor Berhad’s PIP Programme during the summit. The certificate was presented by Yang Berhormat Tuan Ng Sze Han, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade and Mobility, in the presence of Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Hasan Azhari Haji Idris, Chief Executive Officer of Invest Selangor Berhad.
Introduced at the Selangor Investment & Industrial Park Expo (SPARK) 2026, the PIP Programme aims to enhance the visibility and attractiveness of Selangor’s industrial parks among prospective investors. Through strategic promotion and direct referrals, the initiative connects investors with industrial park developers, helping businesses identify suitable facilities while creating more targeted investment opportunities across the state.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, SIBS 2026 was graced by Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Raja Muda Selangor Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj and attended by Selangor Menteri Besar YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin bin Shari, alongside government officials and industry leaders. The opening of NCT Alliance’s NSIP exhibition booth marked the beginning of four days of engagement with prospective investors and industry players from across Southeast Asia.
As NSIP progresses into its next development phase, NCT Alliance plans to introduce the Smart Commercial Hub in early 2027, with registration expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026. Strategically located within NSIP, the integrated commercial and lifestyle destination is designed to provide a range of amenities, including dining, leisure, healthcare and everyday conveniences. It will complement the park’s existing facilities, including the one-stop Smart Global Centre, to support the needs of businesses and their workforce.
These developments follow the completion of vacant possession handovers for Phase 1 of NSIP, recognised as Malaysia’s first Managed Industrial Park (MIP), and the launch of KM2 under Phase 2, which is targeted for completion in 2029. Spanning approximately 910 acres, NSIP has a total gross development value (GDV) of RM10.2 billion. The development integrates high-quality infrastructure with artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) technology, advanced data analytics, digital solutions and automation. It is also recognised as Malaysia’s largest GreenRE-certified ESG managed industrial park.

Dato’ Sri Yap Ngan Choy, Executive Chairman and Group Managing Director of NCT Alliance Berhad, said receiving the PIP Certificate was a significant milestone that reaffirmed the company’s commitment to developing quality industrial parks that meet the evolving needs of investors and businesses. He also expressed appreciation for the strong partnership with Invest Selangor and its continued support for NSIP, adding that the company looks forward to attracting further investments, strengthening industry connections and contributing to South Selangor’s growth as a key economic corridor.
At the summit, NCT Alliance also presented NCT Innosphere (NIS), its second industrial park development, located on 137 acres of Free Zone land within the Delapan Special Border Economic Zone (SBEZ) in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah. Developed in partnership with Northern Gateway Group of Companies (NGX), a wholly owned subsidiary of Minister of Finance Incorporated (MOF Inc.), NIS has an estimated GDV of RM1.10 billion. The development has secured Provisional Silver GreenRE Certification and comprises eight phases offering 230 industrial units across various configurations, including terrace, cluster, semi-detached and detached factories, as well as build-to-suit options.
Positioned as Northern Malaysia’s first Managed Industrial Park, NIS is strategically located within the Malaysia-Thailand cross-border trade area known as the “Zero Mile Zone”. Its location provides connectivity to key regional logistics routes, including Penang Port and the northern ASEAN corridors. Adopting the MIP model established at NSIP, the development incorporates solar-ready infrastructure, smart resource management and a dedicated one-stop centre. NIS is also preparing to launch its Commercial Hub in the fourth quarter of 2026, further expanding the facilities available to businesses operating within the park.

Through NSIP and NIS, the company aims to strengthen Malaysia’s position as an attractive destination for industrial investment while supporting economic development and expanding regional trade connections.
