SELANGOR, 8 SEPTEMBER 2026 — The achievements were highlighted during the NSIP Milestone Event, which featured the commencement of vacant possession (VP) handovers for Phase 1, the launch of KM2 under Phase 2, as well as several strategic collaborations and infrastructure milestones supporting the development of an integrated industrial ecosystem.

The event was officiated by Selangor Menteri Besar YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin bin Shari and attended by Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade and Mobility YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, alongside NCT Alliance’s leadership, including Executive Chairman and Group Managing Director Dato’ Sri Yap Ngan Choy and Executive Director Dato’ Yap Fook Choy.

The milestone celebration began with a flag-raising ceremony at the newly completed Dataran NCT. Inspired by the spirit of Dataran Merdeka, the landmark represents national pride and progress while reflecting NSIP’s Malaysian identity and its ambition to become a globally competitive industrial development.

The event then proceeded with the handover of vacant possession to lot owners at the completed Phase 1 of NSIP. This achievement makes NSIP the first development under Selangor’s Integrated Development Region in South Selangor (IDRISS) to reach the VP stage, marking an important step forward in the region’s industrial development.

Phase 1 comprises 280 solar-equipped industrial units and has recorded a take-up rate of nearly 90%, highlighting strong demand for strategically located and future-ready industrial properties. The strong take-up also reflects growing interest among businesses in industrial developments that combine modern facilities with sustainability features.

Meanwhile, NCT Alliance officially launched KM2 under Phase 2, representing the next stage of NSIP’s expansion. The development comprises 241 industrial units, offering a broader selection of detached, semi-detached, cluster and terrace factories, as well as industrial land parcels designed to cater to different business and manufacturing requirements.

The launch of KM2 signals a bold new chapter for NCT Smart Industrial Park, adding 241 larger manufacturing and industrial spaces to support businesses that are ready to scale and grow.

The company said Malaysia’s growing demand for industrial and logistics infrastructure, coupled with Selangor’s strategic location and state-backed incentives, continues to create opportunities for high-value investment. The expansion of NSIP is expected to generate wider economic benefits, including construction-related employment and skilled job opportunities once the development becomes fully operational.

Spanning approximately 910 acres of prime land with a total gross development value (GDV) of RM10.2 billion, NSIP is the first development under the IDRISS master plan. The project is positioned as a key component in transforming South Selangor into a strategic industrial corridor capable of attracting high-impact investments.

Beyond its physical development, NCT Alliance is also strengthening NSIP’s business ecosystem through strategic partnerships. The company exchanged Memoranda of Collaboration (MoCs) with SIRIM Berhad and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), providing businesses within NSIP with greater access to certification services and support for adopting digital solutions.

NCT Smart Industrial Park welcomes its first owners with the symbolic key handover for completed units in Phase 1, opening the door for businesses to begin operations within Malaysia’s first certified Managed Industrial Park.

Infrastructure development also reached an important milestone with the official handover of Jalan Langat Lestari. Completed ahead of schedule by NCT Building & Civil Engineering Sdn Bhd, the project is expected to improve connectivity to surrounding areas while supporting NSIP’s readiness for commercial operations.

NCT Alliance also received the Master Services Agreement for Managed Industrial Park (MIP) from Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Langat (MPKL), formalising the implementation of the MIP model at NSIP. The model integrates centralised park management, security and digital services to create a more efficient operating environment for businesses and tenants.

Among the park’s smart features are a Smart Command Centre, intelligent building management systems, integrated digital solutions and 5G connectivity. NSIP also includes an AI-managed Centralised Labour Quarter (CLQ), designed to provide quality accommodation for workers within the industrial development.

Sustainability remains a key component of NSIP’s master plan. Positioned as Malaysia’s largest GreenRE-certified ESG-managed industrial park, the development incorporates solar power generation, rainwater harvesting systems, electric vehicle charging facilities and a 100-year flood mitigation plan.

These initiatives are designed to reduce environmental impact while improving operational efficiency and resilience. They also support NCT Alliance’s wider sustainability objectives and align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and Malaysia’s National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR).

With Phase 1 now progressing into the handover stage and KM2 marking the next phase of expansion, NCT Alliance is continuing to position NSIP as a smart, sustainable and future-ready industrial destination. The development is expected to play an increasingly important role in attracting high-value investments, creating employment opportunities and supporting Selangor’s long-term industrial and economic growth.
