With the launch of her most ambitious, vivid, and vibrant musical composition to date, Animenia 2024, renowned award-winning Malaysian composer and producer Sharon Paul is stepping outside of her comfort zone.
This was revealed to esteemed members of the media during a well-attended press conference which was held at the Concourse in Sungei Wang Plaza in Kuala Lumpur, this morning.
With the trust and significant funding by MyCreative Ventures, and the complete support by the Ministry of Communications & Digital, ANIMENIA 2024, is set to be staged at Jio Space in Petaling Jaya on 3rd & 4th February 2024.
Founded by award winning Malaysian composer and producer Sharon Paul, and with technical input from industry heavyweight Jennifer Thompson, the anime-themed orchestral concert and cosplay gathering is expected to be one of the most notable events of 2024.
Among the featured artistes that will grace the stage at ANIMENIA 2024 include Rina Hime, Asmidar, Riko SOG, Ariel Fesol and Nuim Mubarrak. Also to be featured will be professional prop maker and renowned cosplayer Abudora.
Animenia 2024 which focuses on fusing together music and the Cosplay community while celebrating anime from around the world, will feature a 48-piece ensemble consisting of an orchestra, 4 traditional music instruments, choir by Elcoro Ensemble and a backing band, along with the Malaysian artistes. Animenia 2024 with its attractive themes and innovative ideas, will have activities for the whole family, from ages 9 onwards. More than 3,000 anime and music fans are expected to attend the festival over the two-day period.
Animenia 2024 will be spread over 2 days and will also see a variety of activities including an ACG exhibition & bazaar featuring cosplay products and food, various competitions that include costume, cosplay skits, dance, anisong and Mobile Legends, and will end with a tea dance featuring several prominent DJs.
Sharon Paul who is the owner of Musicwerks Studio and Werkit Records will also be Animenia 2024’s musical director. She is a Berklee graduate and has vast experience writing for television, animation, films and songs. Her vision for the company is to create good music, influence and educate the next generation to achieve their aspirations.
Acting as stage and technical producer for Animenia 2024 will be Jennifer Thompson, better known in the industry as “Kak Jen”. She has been in music scene for more than 30 years, and was the General Manager for Persatuan Akademi Industri Music Malaysia (AIM) for 15 years. She also produced “Anugerah Bintang Popular” (the Malaysian “People’s Choice Award”) for 9 years. Using her knowledge and her experience of the music scene, she will be overseeing the entire technical production for the concert.
Conducting the orchestra is MK Ridzuan, a renowned musician in a symphony orchestra, mainly as an oboist. MK Ridzuan ventured into traditional music as a flute, serunai and gendang player. His debut performance as a traditional musician was in Middlesex and Cambridge, in the United Kingdom, performing Mak Yong and Ghazal songs.
Animenia 2024 will be project managed by 10-year film industry veteran Aishah who has been with Primeworks Studios for 9 years. Besides content creation and producing, she has also been involved in the biggest TV station programs including Anugerah Juara Lagu, Anugerah Skrin, Anugerah Bintang Popular and the Lazada Concert. She also coordinated with Royal Protocol Malaysia for the 8th Asean Textiles Symposium, together with the Raja Permaisuri Agung and recently became the Project Manager for the SOG’s Reimaginasi concert.
Also supporting Animenia 2024 with his knowledge and experience will be Abdullah Othman, better known as Abudora. He has been making props not just for cosplay, but various other fields such as event roadshows, corporate branding and films. He also appeared as one of the judges in the iFlix’s 2019 TV show, Cosplay Heroes.
Animenia 2024 will be hosted by renowned Malaysian cosplayer, J-Rock enthusiast and vocalist Hsachiko (read as Sa-Chi-ko).

Lahir pada tahun 1993, Jaz Hayat atau Jaz, seperti panggilan akrabnya, kembali menggebrak industri musik dengan merilis single terbarunya yang berjudul ‘Seribu Tahun’. Lagu ini merupakan reinterpretasi dari karya Imran Ajmain yang populer pada tahun 2007. Komposisi asli Taufik Batisah dan produksi oleh Seek memberikan sentuhan yang segar dan terkini pada lagu tersebut.
Jaz juga kongsikan tentang perjalanan dalam pemilihan lagu ‘Seribu Tahun’ sebagai single terbarunya, pada beberapa bulan yang lalu Jaz telah memuat naik satu video rakaman lagu ‘Seribu Tahun’ ini di sosial media Instagramnya dengan durasi satu minit 30 saat itu telah mendapat sambutan daripada pengikutnya di saluran itu.
“Pada awalnya, saya sangat sukakan lagu ‘Seribu Tahun’ ini dan dijadikan sebagai content di Instagram dengan durasi satu minit 30 saat itu tiba-tiba mendapat sambutan daripada peminat. Setelah itu, saya dan pihak syarikat rakaman Sony Music Entertainment berbincang untuk menghasilkan ia sebagai lagu saduran untuk keluaran single terbaru pada tahun ini selepas keluaran single ‘Bersamamu’” Kata Jaz berkongsi tentang proses lagu ‘Seribu Tahun’ dihasilkan.
Selain itu, lagu ini sangat istimewa untuk Jaz kerana ia mengisahkan tentang kesetiaan seseorang yang sanggup melakukan apa sahaja walaupun seribu tahun lamanya. Namun adakah ia akan bertahan selamanya? Jaz berasa teruja dengan keluaran lagu ini agar pendengar dapat kaitkan dengan pengalaman peribadi masing-masing.
“Menurut Jaz lagu ini mengenai kesetiaan seseorang yang akan bertahan seribu tahun lamanya dan adakah ia mampu bertahan selama itu? Keunikkan lagu ini juga tiada kesimpulan, sebaliknya ia memberi persoalan kepada pendengar” Jaz berkata dengan keistimewaan lagu ini.
Dari sudut aspek lagu, ‘Seribu Tahun’ mempunyai makna lirik yang mendalam dan melodi yang indah, sekali gus genre ballad telah mengembalikan gaya nyanyian asal seperti single sulungnya, ‘Dari Mata’ Hal ini dapat membantu Jaz dalam menyampaikan karya ini dengan lebih baik.
“Ketika saya sekolah menengah, ‘Seribu Tahun’ sudah pun popular di Kawasan Asia Tenggara seperti Brunei, Singapura dan Malaysia. Lagu ini mempunyai lirik yang indah dan melodi yang menarik. Genre ballad ini juga dapat mengembalikan cara nyanyian asal saya seperti single pertama dahulu” Kata Jaz, penyanyi yang popular dengan lagu ‘Dari Mata’ itu.
Selain itu, lagu ‘Seribu Tahun’ ini telah mendapat sambutan yang luar biasa di Malaysia, apabila telah disenaraikan di dalam empat buah playlist teratas di saluran strim digital, Spotify seperti Galau Rabak, Carta Malaysia, Pop Balada dan Pop Terkini.
“Jaz tidak sangka lagu ini mendapat sambutan daripada Malaysia, dengan pencapaian ini Jaz mengambil kesempatan untuk berterima kasih atas sokongan kerjaya saya terutamanya lagu ‘Seribu Tahun’ ini. Semoga tahun akan datang saya akan menghasilkan karya-karya yang lebih banyak dan berkualiti tinggi” Jaz menjelaskan rasa bersyukurnya.

Siti Sairah pula meletakkan kepercayaan memasak kepada suaminya. Suaminya juga banyak membantu memberi nasihat kepada pasukan Seragam Hitam. Tambah Siti Sairah, “Kebanyakannya suami saya yang akan masak di rumah, tugas saya hanyalah sebagai pembantu di dapur. Kadang-kadang saya hanyalah bantu dari segi lihat dan makan.”

Kaedah ini menggunakan sisa makanan yang dikumpul dan diangkut, melalui proses pengasingan sampah, penghancuran, dan pengeringan, sehingga akhirnya, baja organik dihasilkan. Hotel Concorde Shah Alam menghasilkan 150kg baja organik dalam acara hari ini.
“Kami gembira berkongsi bahawa laporan ujian makmal Jabatan Pertanian Malaysia menunjukkan baja ini adalah 83% organik dan sangat sesuai untuk penanaman,” kata Muhammad Saiful Nizam bin Mansor, Penolong Pegawai Pertanian di Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam.
“Pada hari ini, Sabtu, 16 Disember 2023, kami dengan gembira menaja 150kg baja kepada Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam. Kami berharap dapat meneruskan usaha ke arah kelestarian untuk planet yang lebih baik,” kata Puan Amilia Alias, Pengarah Jualan & Pemasaran, lebih lanjut.
Penyerahan baja organik yang dihasilkan disaksikan oleh Yg Berhormat Tuan Mohd Najwan Halimi, ADUN Kota Anggerik Shah Alam.
Kehebatan bakat vokal Ernie Zakri akan beraksi pada Separuh Akhir Muzik Muzik ke-38, di mana penyanyi ini akan menghidupkan lagu “Astana” dalam satu persembahan solo yang dinanti-nanti.
Syarikat rakaman Universal Music Malaysia yang mewakili Ernie berkata, perkara itu diputuskan selepas pihak Rocketfeul menghubungi mereka, semalam.
“Rocketfuel ada menghubungi kami untuk berbincang perkara ini. Selepas mengambil kira banyak perkara selain tidak mahu membiarkan isu ini berlanjutan, jadi Universal Music Malaysia bersetuju dan membenarkan Ernie selaku penyanyi asal dan komposer lagu Astana untuk membuat persembahan.
“Berhubung terma perbincangan yang belum selesai antara pihak Persatuan Industri Rakaman Malaysia (RIM) dan Persatuan Penerbit Malaysia (MPA) dengan Media Prima Berhad, pihak RIM menyerahkan perkara ini kepada kami di Universal Music Malaysia untuk membuat keputusan.
Ditambah lagu ini sudah pun dicalonkan sejak Februari.
“Pada masa sama, kami tidak mahu isu ini terus berpanjangan dan diperdebatkan. Diharap pihak terbabit segera mencari solusi terbaik,” katanya.
Sementara itu, Erni berkata, dia lega apabila dapat menyanyikan lagu Astana.
“Seperti yang diperkatakan sebelum ini, saya selaku penyanyi asal dan komposer lagu ini sudah tentu mahu menyanyikan lagu ini. Mana mungkin tidak. Malah, tidak pernah sekali saya berkata atau mengeluarkan kenyataan tidak mahu dan tarik diri.
“Jadi, selepas melalui proses perbincangan yang panjang antara semua pihak dan pihak Universal Music Malaysia pun tidak pernah menghalang saya untuk menyanyikan lagu ini, saya dengan penuh gembira akan menggalas sendiri tanggungjawab untuk mempersembahkan lagu Astana.
“Terima kasih sekali lagi kepada pihak Universal Music Malaysia yang sentiasa memahami dan percaya akan bakat saya. Kepada peminat dan semua pihak yang sentiasa ambil berat, saya hargai sokongan anda,” katanya.
Terdahulu, RIM dan MPA dalam kenyataan berkata, mereka masih dalam rundingan dengan Media Prima mengenai terma dan syarat pencalonan lagu dalam program Muzik Muzik yang disiarkan di TV3.
Pengerusi RIM Rosmin Hashim berkata, sesi dialog sudah dibuat membabitkan semua pihak sejak Ogos lalu namun tidak dapat mencapai penyelesaian yang memuaskan.
Malah, Universal Music Malaysia juga berkata, Ernie selaku artis yang kini di bawah naungan mereka cakna mengenai kenyataan RIM dan MPA mengenai terma dan syarat pencalonan lagu dalam Muzik- Muzik yang masih dalam perundingan.
Lagu Astana adalah ciptaan bersama Ernie dengan Omar K, Syamel dan Syazriq Azeman yang tercalon ke Separuh Akhir Muzik-Muzik (SFMM) ke-38 seperti yang diumumkan pada majlis sidang media yang dianjurkan oleh TV3 pada 10 Disember lalu.

Melangkaui tiga dekad pembabitan mereka dalam dunia muzik di negara ini, dua kumpulan muzik pop rock lagenda, UK’s dan Slam buat pertama kalinya dalam sejarah bakal digabungkan di atas satu pentas, dalam satu persembahan yang sama (gabungan), akan membawa peminat-peminat mereka khayal dan menghayati alunan lagu dan muzik sambil mengimbau kembali nostalgia bersama dalam “CONCERT UK’SLAM MUSICAL”.
Dianjurkan oleh BOMBBAY LEGEND WORLDWIDE bersama AMIRUKS ENTERTAINMENT, “CONCERT UK’SLAM MUSICAL” yang berdurasi hampir tiga jam itu akan berlangsung di STADIUM MALAWATI SHAH ALAM pada 3 FEBRUARI 2024.

Kuala Lumpur: Lagu Astana berasal dari penyanyi Ernie Zakri. Lagu ini kayak ke Separuh Akhir Muzik Muzik 38. Namun, persoalan terjadi kerana ketiadaan Ernie Zakri dalam acara tersebut.
Susulan itu, nama penyanyi Ernie terheret apabila didakwa menarik diri daripada menyanyikan lagu Astana yang juga ciptaan bersama Omar K, Syamel dan Syazriq Azeman.
Malah, untuk rekod lagu itu dicalonkan selepas Ernie menyertai syarikat rakaman Universal Music Malaysia pada Julai lalu.
Persatuan Industri Rakaman Malaysia (RIM) dan Persatuan Penerbit Malaysia (MPA) dalam kenyataan berkata, mereka masih dalam rundingan dengan Media Prima mengenai terma dan syarat pencalonan lagu dalam program Muzik Muzik yang disiarkan di TV3.
Pengerusi RIM Rosmin Hashim berkata, sesi dialog sudah dibuat membabitkan semua pihak sejak Ogos lalu namun tidak dapat mencapai penyelesaian yang memuaskan.
“Banyak ahli kami yang terdiri dari syarikat rakaman tempatan dan antarabangsa tidak mencalonkan rakaman lagu artis mereka dalam program Muzik Muzik tahun ini kerana tidak bersetuju dengan klausa tertentu dalam borang pencalonan lagu program itu.
“Kami sudah mengadakan sesi dialog bersama pihak pengurusan tertinggi Media Prima mengenai perkara ini pada awal Ogos tahun ini dan sudah mengetengahkan klausa bermasalah dalam borang pencalonan tersebut buat perhatian mereka.
“Walaubagaimanapun, sehingga kini, kami masih belum dapat penyelesaian yang memuaskan sepenuhnya berhubung perkara ini dan berharap dapat mencapainya dengan segera untuk klausa dan isu berkenaan”, katanya.
Sementara itu, Universal Music Malaysia berkata, Ernie selaku artis yang kini di bawah naungan Universal Music Malaysia, cakna mengenai kenyataan RIM dan MPA mengenai terma dan syarat pencalonan lagu dalam Muzik-Muzik yang masih dalam perundingan.
“Ernie Zakri menyatakan bahawa beliau sentiasa mematuhi prosedur label antarabangsa Universal Music Malaysia serta menghormati pendirian kedua-dua persatuan iaitu RIM dan MPA yang mewakili syarikat rakaman tempatan dan antarabangsa serta pemegang hak rakaman bunyi/video dan karya di Malaysia,” katanya.
Universal Music Malaysia juga menjelaskan Ernie tidak pernah mengeluarkan sebarang kenyataan berkaitan pencalonan dan penyertaan lagu Astana sepertimana yang dilaporkan dalam beberapa media.
Dalam pada itu, Ernie menafikan dakwaan dia sengaja tidak mahu menyanyikan lagu Astana.
“Saya adalah penyanyi asal dan komposer lagu ini. Sudah tentu saya nak menyanyikan lagu ini. Malah, tidak pernah cakap saya tak nak nyanyi atau tarik diri.”
“Namun, disebabkan terdapat beberapa terma perbincangan yang belum selesai antara pihak RIM dan MPB, ia menjadi penghalang untuk saya mempersembahkan lagu ini pada Separuh Akhir Muzik Muzik 38,” katanya.

Persatuan Industri Rakaman Malaysia (RIM) dan Persatuan penerbit malaysia (MAP) berunding tentang terma dan syarat pencalonan lagu. Muzik Muzik akan di siarkan tidak lama lagi.
“Banyak ahli kami yang terdiri dari syarikat rakaman tempatan dan antarabangsa tidak mencalonkan rakaman lagu artis-artis mereka dalam program Muzik Muzik tahun ini kerana tidak bersetuju dengan klausa tertentu dalam borang pencalonan lagu program tersebut. Kami telah mengadakan sesi dialog bersama pihak pengurusan tertinggi Media Prima mengenai perkara ini pada awal Ogos tahun ini dan telah mengetengahkan klausa bermasalah dalam borang pencalonan tersebut buat perhatian mereka. Walaubagaimanapun, sehingga kini, kami masih belum dapat penyelesaian yang memuaskan sepenuhnya berhubung perkara ini dan berharap kami dapat mencapainya dengan segera untuk klausa dan isu berkenaan”, kata Rosmin bin Hashim, Pengerusi RIM.
“Banyak ahli kami dari kalangan syarikat penerbit juga tidak mencalonkan lagu-lagu baharu yang mereka tadbir bagi pihak penulis lagu masing-masing dalam program Muzik Muzik tahun ini. Pihak kami juga telah membangkitkan klausa yang berkaitan dalam borang pencalonan lagu Muzik Muzik yang menjadi isu buat ahli-ahli kami ke perhatian Media Prima. Kami berharap dapat mencapai kata sepakat dengan pihak Media Prima dalam isu ini agar ahli-ahli kami dapat meneruskan pencalonan lagu-lagu baharu mereka dalam program tersebut. ” tambah Ng Ay Na, Pengerusi MPA.

WOMEN: Girls in Kuala Lumpur celebrated a significant achievement today at a graduation ceremony, marking the successful completion of the most recent session of the Kejar Kerja program. WOMEN:girls, NIVEA, and Watsons worked together to create this apprenticeship program, which aims to provide young women in the creative business with organized career options. In addition to providing participants with life-changing experiences, the program established a deep and meaningful collaboration, which had a profound effect on all parties involved.
The Kejar Kerja programme, encompassing recruitment, orientation and apprenticeship phases, commenced with an intensive selection process, handpicking 10 exceptional candidates for a two month apprenticeship in the beauty industry. This programme uniquely paired participants with esteemed mentors from the makeup, fashion and beauty sectors, ensuring a mentorship rich in guidance and industry insights. Focused on equipping participants for the future, the programme offered tailored skills training, closely aligned with the evolving trends and needs of the contemporary beauty and creative industries. This immersive apprenticeship experience extended beyond theory, involving participants in the practical aspects of the industry, from daily operations to participation in a variety of business and lifestyle events.
The programme participants were mentored by a cadre of industry luminaries: Kim May Chee (founder of COCOdry), Adlina Nadirah (founder of Velvet Vanity Cosmetics), Nadia Halim (founder of Blip by Nadia Halim), Nelissa Hilman (founder and creative director of Nelissa Hilman), KF Bong (celebrity makeup artist), Melinda Looi (fashion designer), Warnabilla (makeup artist), Jastina (makeup artist and founder of J Beauty Shop), Sereen Eng (nail care expert and founder of POSH Malaysia) and Ummi Nasir (makeup artist and content creator), all of whom imparted valuable knowledge and skills, shaping the apprentices’ professional growth.

“Saya mahu menjadikan konsert ini sebagai satu memori indah untuk karier seni saya kerana kita satu pentas bersama di dalam satu konsert yang ditujukan khas Sifu Dan Aku. Jadi, pada malam itu kami menyanyikan semua lagu hit.
“Memang ini bakal menjadi pengalaman yang tidak akan dilupakan. Rugi kalau orang tak datang kerana penceritan itu saya dan M Nasir. Bagaimana saya mengenali beliau hingga saat ini. Malah, saya juga ada pernah menerbitkan satu album Palestin untuk Palestin yang diterbitkan pleh beliau,” katanya.

New In-Camera Signature Solution Attaches Digital Certificate to Photos at the Point of Capture to Certify Legitimacy
Sony Electronics today announced the completion of a second round of testing with the Associated Press for Sony’s in-camera authenticity technology. This in-camera digital signature enables the construction of a birth certificate for photos, authenticating the content’s origin.
Sony’s authenticity technology provides a machine-based digital signature, removing the opportunity for undetected manipulation at the start. The digital signature is made inside the camera at the moment of capture in the hardware chipset. This security feature is aimed at professionals wanting to safeguard the authenticity of their content and provides an extra layer of security to aid news agencies in their fight against falsified imagery.
“While the rapid evolution of generative AI (Artificial Intelligence) brings new possibilities for creative expression, it has also led to growing concern about the impact of altered or manipulated imagery in journalism,” says Neal Manowitz, President and COO of Sony Electronics. “The dissemination of false information and images has real world social impact that brings harm not only to our photojournalist and news agency partners, but to society as a whole. We care deeply about this challenge and are committed to using our resources to help solve it. Through Sony’s work on the steering committee for C2PA (Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity), we have helped set the current industry standard for the tracking of editing and manipulation of imagery. Additionally, our in-camera authenticity technology has shown valuable results, and we will continue to push its development towards a wider release.”
“Fake and manipulated images are a major concern for news organizations. Sony and AP’s most recent field test was completed during October of 2023. In this month-long test, both capture authentication and workflow process were evaluated. To accomplish this, Sony partnered with Camera Bits – the company behind the industry standard workflow tool, Photo Mechanic. Alongside Sony and AP, Camera Bits created technology in Photo Mechanic that preserves the camera’s digital signature all the way through the metadata editing process.

Sebelum menghadiri Istiadat Pengurniaan Surat Cara Pelantikan, Mengangkat Sumpah Jawatan dan Setia, serta Sumpah Simpan Rahsia Menteri Persekutuan, yang akan bermula pada pukul 2.30 petang nanti, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim telah mengumumkan rombakan kabinet di pejabatnya pada pukul 11 pagi tadi.
Anwar juga sempat berkongsi berkenaan ahli jemaah menteri baharu yang keseluruhannya berjumlah 60 orang, namun jumlah keseluruhan ahli jemaah menteri ini masih lagi rendah jika dibandingkan dengan 70 orang barisan kabinet pada ketika pentadbiran sebelum ini.
Justeru, terdapat lima menteri baru yang dilantik sebagai ahli jemaah menteri baru baru ini adalah, Gobind Singh Deo, Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad, Datuk Seri Johari Ghani, Steven Sim dan Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan. Manakala, menteri yang digugurkan dari kabinet ialah YB Sivakumar a/l Varathraju.
Jumlah keseluruhan menteri meningkat dari 28 orang ke 31 orang.
Sementara itu, lima timbalan menteri yang baharu adalah Datuk Seri Noraini Ahmad, M Kulasegaran, Dato Ramanan, Wong Kah Wohdan Dr. Zulkifli Hassan yang menggantikan dua timbalan menteri yang digugurkan iaitu, Ramkarpal singh dan Datuk Siti Aminah Aching.
Demikian, jumlah keseluruhan timbalan menteri meningkat daripada 27 kurang daripada 29 orang.

Setelah kejayaan luar jangkaan dan memberangsangkan konsert “Jujur Takkan Melupakanmu, Live In Concert Radja (Special Appearance Ella)” yang menarik lebih daripada 5,000 penonton pada November lalu, syarikat penganjur konsert yang kian menempa nama, Orange International kembali dengan hiburan seterusnya khusus buat orang Pulau Pinang, KONSERT “CARI JODOH” & “DAWAI” WALI DI PENANG pada 3 Februari 2024 ini. Konsert ini turut menampilkan penyanyi Fadhilah Intan, Saixse dan jugaKhai Bahar, bermula 8.30malam, bertempat di Spice Arena, Pulau Pinang.

Sony today unveiled the revolutionary new Alpha 9 III camera, which features the world’s first1 full-frame global shutter picture sensor.
The impressive new global shutter full-frame image sensor enables the camera to shoot at burst speeds at up to 120 fps with no distortion or camera blackout. By combining this innovative sensor with Sony’s most advanced AF system to date – boasting AI autofocus with up to 120 times AF/AE focus calculations per second – as well as the ability to sync flash at all shooting speeds, the Alpha 9 III opens up a new world of possibilities for professional photographers to capture that decisive moment.

The new Alpha 9 III is equipped with a newly developed world’s first1 global shutter full frame stacked CMOS image sensor with approximately 24.6 effective megapixels and built-in memory, combined with the latest image processing engine BIONZ XR®. It achieves blackout-free Continuous Shooting Speed with AF/AE tracking of up to approximately 120 frames per second4. The new Alpha 9 III is equipped with high-density focal plane phase detection AF. A Designated AI processing unit uses Real-time Recognition AF (autofocus) to recognise a wide variety of subjects with high precision. By combining high-speed performance of up to 120 frames per second with highly accurate subject recognition performance, it is possible to easily photograph decisive scenes and moments that cannot be captured with the naked eye4. The AI processing unit in the Alpha 9 III supports movies as well as stills with accurate subject form and movement recognition, providing a significant improvement in human eye recognition performance with Real-time Recognition AF and Real-time Tracking automatically recognising, tracking, and focusing on the eyes of a specified subject. The Alpha 9 III is equipped with 8.0 stops of optical 5-axis in-body image stabilisation, allowing for high-quality image rendering.

Shutter speed is freed from the limitations of conventional mechanical shutter image sensors and achieves a maximum shutter speed of 1/80000 second (1/16000 second during continuous shooting), making it possible to capture at high speed without any distortion. When a compatible Sony flash is attached, such as the HVL-F60RM2 and HVL-F46RM (sold separately), it is possible to synchronise the flash and take pictures at all shutter speeds up to 1/80000 second8. Previously, if the user released the shutter at a speed faster than the flash’s synchronisation speed, the amount of light would drop sharply, but with the full-speed flash synchronisation function, it’s now possible to photograph scenes that could not be easily captured with conventional technology. Also, when shooting stills or movies under LED lighting, the Hi Frequency Flicker function can significantly reduce high-frequency flicker problems by allowing the shutter speed to be finely adjusted to match the flicker frequency while viewing the monitor.

The Alpha 9 III features selectable release lag modes which allows the user to prioritise release lag or viewfinder/monitor display. The newly installed Pre-Capture function allows the user to go back up to 1 second and record the moment before pressing the shutter, a Continuous Shooting Speed Boost change during shooting, and enhanced burst stamina ensures that important moments are reliably captured due to a large buffer memory and increased overall system speed allow up to approximately 390 Fine JPEG images to be captured in one continuous 30 fps burst.

Customisable focus areas have been expanded to include from XS to XL instead of the previous S, M, and L sizes. The Preset Focus/Zoom function allows preset focus and zoom settings to be memorised in the camera for quick recall when needed. In addition to the existing custom white balance frame size, the user can now select other sizes as needed which allows for fine white balance adjustment after an image has been composed. The Alpha 9 III has upgraded features such as the latest AF algorithms to achieve high AF precision down to light levels as low as EV-5 in AF-S mode (ISO 100 equivalent, F2.0 lens), AF tracking for continuous shooting at F22 and a composite RAW shooting function that gives the ability to combine multiple consecutive images into a high-quality composite.

The global shutter image sensor provides distortion-free image expression for videos as well as still images. For example, the user can shoot images of nearby scenery from a fast-moving vehicle such as a car or fast-moving subjects with ease. This camera is the first in the Alpha™ series to be able to record 4K 120p high-frame-rate video without cropping, allowing the user to shoot at the angle of view intended. It is also possible to shoot high-resolution 4K 60p videos with 6K oversampling.

Sony has listened to the voices of professional photographers and created operability and reliability that supports professional image makers. The shape of the grip is improved and ergonomically designed so that it can be easily held in the palm of the user’s hand to avoid straining the user even when wearing a telephoto lens or using it for long periods of time.

The VG-C5 vertical grip (sold separately), provides the same operability and versatility as when shooting horizontally; the user can comfortably support long shooting sessions. The grip and shutter button area share the same design as the main body, allowing image capture without feeling uncomfortable, with the same operability as the camera. The Alpha 9 III is equipped with a 4-axis multi-angle LCD monitor that can be operated by touch, allowing for intuitive operation using the latest touch menu. The electronic viewfinder uses a 9.44 million-dot Quad XGA OLED and achieves high visibility with the same brightness as the α7R V and a magnification of approximately 0.90x. Also, a custom button is placed on the front of the camera, and the continuous shooting speed can be changed by operating the custom button assigned with Continuous Shooting Speed Boost with the finger holding the grip, allowing for highly immediate operations. It supports professional photographers when shooting in all environments.

New features for the Alpha 9 III include a playback image filter that allows the user to efficiently select a large number of images using high-speed continuous shooting, and a function menu that can be used even during image playback, strongly supporting professional workflows from shooting to delivery.

A function menu can now be used during playback so the user can efficiently select a huge number of images using high-speed continuous shooting. The “Playback Function Menu” can be assigned in advance, so the user can perform protection, smartphone transfer, FTP transfer, etc. during image playback. The user can select images narrowed down with a playback filter and play them from the function menu, allowing for quick delivery of specific images. The camera is equipped with a dedicated microphone for voice memos on the back, and the built-in microphone located near the mouth allows clear recording of audio even in noisy environments. The recorded audio data can be transferred via FTP along with the images. The camera allows the user to set up to 20 presets from the International Press Telecommunications Council (IPTC), an international consultative body in which news organisations from various countries participate.

The Alpha 9 III can transfer data up to twice as fast as the Alpha 9 II. 5 GHz communication offers maximum speed and stability for news and sports shooters who need to deliver immediately via FTP, as well as for studio environments. The Alpha 9 III allows stills and movies to be recorded to memory media in numerous ways including the two media slots that support CFexpress Type A cards as well as UHS-I and UHS-II SD cards.

Mereka akan mengajar teknik-teknik menjawab berdasarkan analisis soalan percubaan SPM dari setiap negeri di Malaysia. Di studio, tenaga pengajar PTTI juga akan berinteraksi secara langsung dengan pelajar-pelajar yang dijemput hadir ke studio untuk membantu mereka untuk memahami, menguasai dan cara untuk skor peperiksaan SPM. Festival ini sempena Youth Achievement Record (YAR) yang dianjurkan oleh GenYouth yang akan diadakan bagi mengiktiraf pencapaian individu muda daripada pelbagai latar belakang dan peringkat umur yang berbeza. Tujuannya adalah untuk memupuk semangat perpaduan dan kebanggaan di kalangan negara-negara ASEAN serta menonjolkan pencapaian belia mereka. Ini tanda kita menghargai usaha-usaha anak muda dan pencapaian mereka dalam Festival ASEAN 2023.
Festival ini berperanan sebagai platform untuk mengiktiraf bakat dan sumbangan dari golongan belia dalam pelbagai bidang, termasuk seni, budaya, sukan, keusahawanan, dan banyak lagi. Hari ke-3 Festival ASEAN menonjolkan sumbangan yang dibuat oleh penerima YAR untuk pencapaian cemerlang mereka terhadap alam sekitar, ekonomi, dan masyarakat di seluruh dunia.
